Last updated: 18 September 2026

Theos Transforming Ministries, including Doruka Ministries, respects the privacy, dignity and safety of every person who contacts or participates in our ministry. This notice explains what information we collect, why we use it, who may receive it and how you may contact us about your information.

Information We Collect

  • Name, email address, telephone or WhatsApp number and location.
  • Prayer requests, testimonies, membership information and ministry enquiries.
  • Volunteer skills, availability and partnership interests.
  • Doruka sponsorship enquiries and beneficiary-support applications.
  • Programme, attendance, safeguarding and accountability records where necessary.
  • Technical information normally recorded by the website, such as IP address and browser information.

How We Use Information

We use submitted information to respond to requests, provide ministry or programme support, manage volunteers and partnerships, send requested updates, maintain accurate records, protect beneficiaries and meet reasonable legal or accountability requirements. We do not sell personal information.

Prayer Requests and Testimonies

Prayer requests marked private will be restricted to authorised senior ministry leaders. A testimony will not be published publicly unless the person gives permission. Permission may be withdrawn before publication by contacting us.

Children and Vulnerable Persons

Doruka Ministries works with children and vulnerable people. Their personal information must be collected only when necessary, kept confidential and accessed only by responsible personnel. Public photographs, names or stories require appropriate consent. Beneficiary-support forms should not contain unnecessary medical, financial or identity-document details. A responsible adult should submit information concerning a child.

Safeguarding

Staff, volunteers, visitors and partners must protect beneficiaries from abuse, exploitation, neglect and discrimination. They must maintain appropriate boundaries, avoid private or exploitative contact, respect confidentiality and report concerns promptly. Immediate danger should be reported to the appropriate local emergency or protection authority.

Sharing and Storage

Information may be shared only with authorised ministry officers, programme personnel, service providers or lawful authorities where necessary. Doruka submissions may be received by Minister Nalongo Nakasiita Josephine and the Theos ministry office. Records will be retained only for as long as reasonably required for ministry, programme, safeguarding, accountability or legal purposes, and then securely deleted or anonymised where practical.

Your Choices and Rights

You may ask what information we hold about you, request correction, withdraw optional consent, unsubscribe from newsletters or request deletion where retention is not required for safeguarding, accountability or legal reasons. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

Website Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect submitted information. However, no internet transmission is completely secure. Please do not send passwords, bank PINs, full payment-card information or unnecessary identity documents through website forms.
